Chlormequat Chloride; Pesticide Tolerances
What happened
This final rule, signed by Donald Trump and effective June 30, 2026, modifies existing tolerances for residues of chlormequat chloride in or on barley, oats, triticale, and wheat grains. It also modifies tolerances for multiple food and livestock commodities. Taminco US LLC, a subsidiary of Eastman Chemical Company, requested these changes under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
