Certain Chassis and Subassemblies Thereof From Mexico, Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam: Antidumping Duty Orders
What happened
Based on final determinations from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission, Commerce is issuing anti-dumping duty orders. These orders apply to chassis and subassemblies from Mexico, Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, effective June 18, 2026. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection will assess anti-dumping duties on relevant entries from these countries, dating back to September 29, 2025.
Why it matters
These duties aim to address material injury to a U.S. industry caused by imported chassis being sold at less than fair value. This means importers will face additional costs, which could affect prices and supply of chassis in the U.S. market.
